Pet names (no pun intended...)

Hey! Does anyone else have multiple names for their pets, or is 'Spike' just 'Spike' and 'Moggy' just 'Moggy'? Floss has at least 6 thousand names, most of which she answers to! It was my parent's idea to call her that - after that sweet little kids book? but I always hated it, so I knew right from the start I would not call her that. From the day we picked her up at 7 weeks old I called her 'Woo'. Over time this lenghened to 'Woochi' and even 'Woochia' - I know, and you think Floss is bad?!  I used to come in and say 'How's my Woo?' but that soon became 'Aziboo?'...

At about 8 months she started to rebel and would pointedly ignore me when I called her that in public, along with 'Princess', 'Goofus-Woofus' and 'Bubblegum'. (Sheeesh, when I look at it from someone else's point of view it makes me want to hurl and all!) She'll still let me call her 'Slug' though... Funnily enough we never call her 'Ebony' or 'Ebony-Charm', which is her REAL name!

And don't even get me started on the boys! Am I the only one who does this?

your not alone in the multiple name area, our dutchess gets the obvious 'dut' but also the kids call her rachael and fazzie, They recently had a naming party and gave bonnie a middle name 'frosty' . Also not forgetting my great dane that past away in July called duke- but he also got called bob, dukie bobs and byark by the kids.

Poppie just gets pops.
