Our first dog walk meet up...

The girls and myself are memebers fo about 4/5 walk walking groups. I use a website called www.meetup.com to find groups to join.
On Saturday we went to our first meet up. It was FAN-TAS-TIC! One of the best experiences I've had with any of my dog's. I highly recommend it!
We meet around midday at Battersea park. Walked round for about 2 and half hours then went to a dog-friendly pub near the park for lunch. The staff there were great and ther food was delishious! We met soo many fabulous dogs and people on Saturday. I'm quite a shy person but I felt really at ease with everyone there. Each person was so easy to talk to and made us feel so welcome! And all the dogs...Well, they were hilarious! It was great to see them all running with eachother, jumping in puddles and TRYING to jump into lakes, lmao!!
I was soo impressed with my girls, they really were little angels, the two of them. They were really well behaved on the buses on the way there and back, and it was quite a distance. And they were both fab with the other poochies.
I kept 'threatening' them on the way there saying...'You had better be well behaved...battersea dog's home is just across the road if you're not' teehee! :P
I can't wait for the next meet.
