Dad just got off the phone with someone selling Lionhead babies, there are two left, 8 weeks old, and the same colouring as Patch. We´re going to phone back next week after going to see my Grandad at the weekend and see if they are still there!
Also tried to phone up NANNA,the local rescue, but they didn´t pick up, so I sent an email. Sadly most of their rabbits are bonded already, though =( Picking up my friends old hutch soon, it was hardly used before their old bunny ran away. It´s 2 stories and about 5 times as big as the one Patchie has already! Woo-hoo!

Sorry I haven´t been on here for a while, I´ve been distracted!
Well, we just got back from taking my Patchie to the vets, for having a poopy bum.. again.
We´ve found that he has probably broken his bottom teeth (from pulling at his hutch, grrr)
We had his bottom shaved a bit,so hopefully no more poop on his bottom... but now for the best part.
The vet said he was a beautiful bunny and he was probably JUST BORED.. and NEEDS A FRIEND!

Finally, after two years (Happy Birthday for last month, bunny boy!), my parents have undeniable proof!
He´s suggested a baby bunny because Patch is a very, very calm rabbit... time to start my search!
Oh, and tell Mum. Wish me luck!

Recently, a duck flew into the courtyard at school (which the only way for her to get in/out of is to fly because we´re a circular school)
and lay some eggs. Seven little ducklings hatched, but four have so far been killed by crows, red kites and the like.
The Buildings Manager has built them a makeshift pond and they happily waddle around, and everyone enjoys watching them.
ANOTHER duck also laid five eggs, but gave up on them and acts as a second mother to the first set of ducklings.
Her eggs have hatched, and some ducklings were born. She killed one, injured another, and just left them alone.
When one of them had JUST hatched, they were found at about 9pm at night toddling around the courtyard. The cleaners put him in a box, and put the box in the Building Manager´s office. When they came back, he was running round the office, and ran out of the door! He ran around the school quite happily untill they caught him.
All the younger ducklings have gone to an animal sanctuary so they wont be attacked by their mother again, and the older ones are being left untill they are old enough to fly away on their own.

I just remembered this (though its hard to forget)
A few years back, I went to my cousins wedding. Well, there was MEANT to be a wedding.
The groom got cold feet and left the day before, leaving us with a free day. On the meant-to-be wedding day, we saw an article on the news of a blue whale (dead) having been washed up on a beach near where we were staying- just a 20-min walk away.
Me and my brother went with two of the other people from the wedding along the cliff edge, taking their dog, Ben, for a walk. Our parents went in the car with our cousin etc. Ben really playful and obedient. He ran off, and would come running back whenever his owner called him. One time, he ran off, and when his owner called him, he didnt come back. We had just heard a rustling in the bushes(seperating us and the cliff), and so we figured he was chasing a rabbit or something.
We carried on calling him over and over again, but we couldnt find him. In the end me and my brother went to go see the whale while his owners went on looking.
Four hours later, the coastguard found him on the rocks at the bottom of the cliff. He didnt survive the fall. His owners had to drive his little body home in their car, and I will never forget it.

R.I.P Ben.

I was just sitting in my living room , having had put Patch in his hutch less than an hour ago because it was raining. I'm so glad I did!
Because literally just now, I looked outside and saw a tabby cat sitting outside Patch's hutch, pawing at it and staring right at him! If there hadn't been a hutch cover on it, the cat could have reached him. The thing is, Patch would normally still be outside, so if he hadn't have been in... I dont even want to think about what could have happened!
Well, I ran out, chased the cat off, and opened Patch's hutch to comfort him, as the poor little guy was scared stiff! He ran off, and started thumping his back legs (danger sign), which he has never done before! He also refused to lick me and just sat there, shaking.
I picked him up, and he did lick me again ( a good sign ) and now he's in the house with me, but he's hiding.

As we dont have many cats in our area, I hope this dosen't become a regular event!
He's going in his run for the next few days.

Well, Patch has been getting into our neighbours garden nearly every day for about a month and we didn't know how he did it, as we had blocked off his last route.
We finally found out today!
He was managing to jump over the fence!
A little bit of it had collapsed with all the heavy wind, leaving a section just under a metre tall. Today our neighbour saw him hop over it and get into her garden.
Well, now I know why he might be getting runny poops- the neighbour has alot of Daffodils in her garden, which are poisonous to bunnies!

Well, yesterday I had a very strange experience- I gave Patch a shower!
I put him on the trampoline, covered him with lukewarm water 'cause I didnt want to burn his skin, and he was so upset! He kept on climbing up me with his sad eyes, like he was saying "Why are you doing this to me?"
I kept on rubbing in the bunny shampoo, then he bit me. Nice.
But then he gave me a lick of apology.
He looked so tiny after all his fur was wet and dripping!
Then I got him semi-dry, when I had to go to rehersals for the show I'm doing IN A SOPPING WET T-SHIRT AND JEANS!
As I walked off, leaving Dad with Patch, he JUMPED OFF the trampoline and ran across the garden!

I blame Dad. He's the one that got me to wash him in the first place.
But know what the most ironic thing is?
The one bit of him that NEEDED cleaning didnt get clean!

Oh.My.Goodness!
On Tuesday I couldnt find Patch, at about 4 o'clock. I wasnt really worried because I figured he was under the tarpaulin, as always.
At 6 o'clock, I went outside and looked for him, but he wasnt there. I figured he was in my neighbours garden, and shouted inside "Someone get Patch in for me!" as I ran out the door to go to Guides.
At 9 o'clock I came back from Guides, only to find no-one had gone out to get him. I looked and looked, getting increasingly worried, untill the whole family joined in the search. We couldnt find him. He wasnt in our garden, our neighbours garden, or the other neighbours garden! At this point I burst into tears, getting way too worried.
Then I shouted "PATCH!" at the top of my voice. I heard a sound. I screamed again- another sound. I ran over and found my Patchie, stuck between the white shed in our garden and the fence (a very narrow gap!)
Dad had blocked it off to stop him from getting into our neighbours garden, but Patch had found another way into our neighbours garden and got stuck there upon trying to get back into ours.
I'm so glad we found him! He's never getting stuck anywhere EVER AGAIN.
