After my trip to Wales, I was so happy to be back to be with my little Empress.
She had a good dinner of cooked eggs on Monday.

Yesterday, her legs started to play up and she didn´t want to eat, she just had a minuscule morsel of beef with a bit of painkiller. Her breathing was not so good.

Today, Wednesday 19 November, I found her a bit distraught in her box. Put her on the floor, her legs were not good. Then the worst happened, she vomited loads of blood.
Made an emergency appointment to the vet.
On the way there, she was looking at me all the time and put her little head in my arms very close to me.

The vet didn´t like her breathing and the fact she vomited blood. She had an Xray and it showed that she had a massive tumor in her stomach.

The kind thing to do was to put her to sleep. She was very weak and I had the opportunity to caress her little face (I wasn´t able to do that ever) and to tell her how much I love her.

She was put to sleep around 11.45 and I went to see her afterwards. She will be cremated and I will have her ashes back in 2 weeks time. I haven´t decided yet what I will do with her ashes.

I know she is in peace now and with no pain. She deserved a dignified death. The vet was also in tears as she said Zoe was such a character.

She will be missed by all.

RIP my little Empress.
Love forever xxx
