megan as reached her goal weight of 9/half kg,she was 12/half kg when she started,she is like a different dog she can run and play like a proper dog ,i can remember when she couldnt keep up on walks and i had to carry her,i have put a before and after pic in my album,the vet is so pleased he as put her name and pics forward to recieve a prize and money,the vet also recieves money ,so well done megan the hard work will be keeping it off xxxxxx

a pigeon was trapped on a house aerial for 5 hours this afternoon,we could see the pigeon struggling to get free,we called the fire brigade to the rescue,they put 2 ladders going to the roof,and managed to cut it free,the pigeon flew to the ground were it was picked up by a neighbour,it seemed in good shape except for a wing which was bleeding,the fire men said it was trapped by it,s foot with fishing line,the rspca came to take the bird to be looked after by there vet,hope the poor little thing survives,i have put a album together of the rescue.well done to the firemen and rspca.

OH MY GOD JUST LOOKED AT THE CALENDER AND ITS BETHS BIRTHDAY TODAY,HAVE TO POP DOWN THE ASDA TO GET HER SOMETHING NICE,SHE,S 5 TODAY.

fed up of rain rain rain,cant be bothered to go down brean in the caravan,it will be rain rain rain,so were just getting a few weekends away on our own,voting starts for rescue dog of the year i will give all the info for your votes,if it wont cost you anything,i think phone votes are a rip off.beth is settling in really well and loves her sheltie sisters,megan as reached her goal weight from 12.6 kg to 9 kg,shecan run like the wind now ,and chases bonnie and grabs her tail.though its a funny sight to see them running with beth,i will have to try a video,but beths to fast and i cant follow her.there all in great health .just want some sun.

all 3 dogs are getting on really well we havent had one squabble yet,had a great day at the show yesterday and all proceeds was divided up between different animal sanctuarys,we came home with 2 1st 1 5th 1 3rd 1 2nd,megan got 1st with her best trick but i dont have any pics as my hubby is hopeless with the camera,but i will try to get it on video,beth is doing really well and we have been told to enter her in a championship show so we are thinking of it,but it would mean leaving meg and bon at home and we always take all 3 out with us,tried to put a album together but theres not many of me bonnie and megan phil keeps pressing the wrong buttons on the camera he he .going to the country and western week at brean in sept see how beth gets on with all the wild rabbits lol .enjoy the rest of the summer .

beth as won rascue dog of the year for coventry,i will be begging for votes in september,when she goes head to head with all the other finalists.megan is doing so well on her diet its a long haul though the vet is very pleased with her progress,her starting weight was 12.6 kg her weight now is 10.7 kg so well done megan .i have managed to loose 17lb on weight watchers diet so we are all getting thinner and healthier.bonnie eats enough to keep a sparrow alive shes to busy all the time to stop and eat her meals ha ha .little budgie charlie as turned into a acrobat and swings by his beak or one leg all round his toys and is loving his bath and as a good wash every morning .have a great summer .pat x

poor little things went for there 1st injection,they were both found fit and healthy,and didnt flinch when the needle went in they were very brave,reg was sick on the way there bonnie was sick on the way back,luckily they were in the crate.i was going to hold them on my lap but changed my mind at the last minute,bonnies weight was 3.15 kg reg was 2.75 kg,i think she is going to take after megan and will have to watch her weight.they have both learned to sit on command for a little bit of chicken,so i think they will respond well at puppy class when they have had there course of needles.though they will not tolerate me brushing them,i will have to work on this with there coats they need a lot of grooming.

its going so fast,they change every day,bonnie now weighs 900 gms regis weighe 999 gms,we have starte trying them with food regis loves it but bonnie will only eat off our finger,they are trying to get out off the box, wont be long before they can do it ,they are a bit more wakeful now and bark and play a little bit,they are so delicate, there ears are just starting to tip over.like mums.

 bonnie opened her eyes today ,they look beautiful,regis hasnt opened his yet but i dont suppose he will be far behind,they are trying to walk instead of crawl but arnt making a very good job of it.still eating and sleeping a lot,x

a week old and growing by the day,all they do is feed and sleep wish all babies were like that.regis now weighs 400gms bonnie weighs300gms,they havent opened there eyes yet but i expect it any day,megan is back to her happy self and eating plenty,i will try to pit a video on but i m not having much luck at the moment,will try again tonight.x

megans pups sleep all day in between feeding,and cry all night inbetween feeding,they are gaining weight daily and getting stronger,poor megan looks so tired but she feeds them then just keeps checking on them,they snugggle up together and dont seem to bothered mum isnt there.robbie as a little peek at them but isnt very interested,we are enjoying every minute with them because they will grow up so quickly,but have to agree with becky cant wait for a full nights sleep.x

at last i feel all is well,they will only use 1 teat so we have to bottle feed as well.regis is named after my sons band,and bonnie because she is bonnie.regis birth weight was 200gms now 225gms bonnies birth weight was 175gms now 175gms she lost a lot of weight but is now picking up on the bottle.megan woke us up this morning at 5 am we went to check her pups and she had shredded her bedding we found the pups alive and well under all the paper,so now we will have to take it in turns watching her more closely .i never thought a litter of pups was such hard work but they are worth every single sleepless night,well my turn to go back to bed good night.x

she isnt showing any signs of giving birth ,the vet will let her go until friday then we will take her in,perhaps there is an injection that will get her started,i can feel the pups wriggling round a lot now,i hope that is a sign ,shes asleep on the bed at the moment i think i will take her a run round the block see if that gets her moving,its like waiting for xmas.x

megan woke us up at 1 20 am we thought she had started we got towels gloves and everything else ready ,she lay down and went fast asleep while we sat there til 3 00 am then gave up and went back to bed ,she is still asleep now ,she only gets up to eat and drink,she as doubled in size and rolls round the floor to save walking she is so funny.well back to waiting .x

megans not showing any signs yet ,her temp is back up 100.4 ,i have just been watching some puppy births on you tube to give me some idea what to expect,up to yet we have just read books.it all looks very gory ,good job my husband phil will be there to see to all the gory jobs,megan as done nothing but sleep the last 2 days i think she is reserving her energy for the birth.we are all waiting but officially she isnt due until tuesday so we need to be patient .x

megans tempreture dropped yesterday we all got so excited,i got all her stuff ready,you would think we were expecting a baby.we kept her in our bedroom all night ,she cried all night to be with robbie downstairs but no pups arrived,phil took her temp the next morning and it had gone up again,so now we wait again.i will end up looking ten years older.

megan and robbie can at long last announce they are expecting babies ,with only a week and half to go we are all excited,megan is looking fit and well,and enjoying all the extra attention,keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us that all goes well.

thought i would change my page with some different photos.we mated megan and robbie last week so we hope to expect the patter of tiny feet the 22 august,this will be our only try i dont think i could go through the stress again,poor robbie tried his best but megan ended up dragging him round the garden ,so i dont think he will be happy to oblige again.we have to wait 2 more weeks before we will be certain ,so i have plenty of time to prepare and read up on the birth,i would appreciate any advice if there are any expierienced breeders out there .

glad we went yesterday to weston park the rain held off though it was a bit cold .there was plenty to see and do the dancing horses were great,megan and robbie got 4 rosettes between them,robbie got 1st for best pedigree dog one woman went up to the judge and said how can a sheltie with pricked ears come 1st.but it is only a fun show and robbie is in beautiful condition,they got 5th for fancy dress we entered them as posh and becks .we had a great day i feel sorry for any one going today.the weather is very wet and windy.enjoy the bank holiday pat megan and robbie.

i cant believe we won pet idol,i never won anything before,we are going to weston park next weekend so megan and robbie can get dolled up with there tea tree oil shampoo ,that should win the judges over ,let you know how we get on,thank you to everyone lol pat megan and robbie.

rained all day at the dog show,we came back with 6 rosettes so we were very proad of them ,megan got 4th for obedience so i was very happy with her,poor robbie decided to leg it on his recall so he got nowere but it was just a bit of fun.megan and robbie got 2nd in best brace i have added a picture.pat.

went to battle of the bands (birmingham) last night ,my sons band REGIS got through to the final next month so we are all celebrating.going to a fun dog show saturday hope it doesnt rain,may i add all the shows we go to are for charity,just in case andrew tyler thinks we are using our dogs as slaves to make us money.

we went to walsall arboretom fun dog show today.robbie won 4th for most handsome dog 4th for best condition 5th best junior handler my grandson showed him.megan got 4th for best pedigree bitch and 5th for best junior handler.we can only do the fun dog shows because megan as 1 blue eye so this would be a fault at a champion show,robbie had to have some surgery on his teeth when we got him at age 14 months he was only kept in a back yard so was pretty nervous of everything he is gaining a little confidence month by month and we would like to try agility with him in the future .tricia
