We took him to the vets and he had to go in for he day to have it flushed. When we got him back from the vets he had a cone on his head and stitches across his face. He also had a small drip page pipe to get rid of fluid. When we got him home he would move. Anesthetic. I had to move his feet to get him into the house...... His cone was far to big so we had to go the vets to get a new one. He hated the cone and kept on trying to get it off. I was lying in bed when I heard a YELP! It was Zico he had strangled himself trying to get off so we had to take it off. So now he doesn´t have on any more and he doesn´t try to get his stitches out! :D He is such a good boy XD 1 Comments 17 Apr 2009 20:57 Me and my Mom were out walking Zico when we spotted the dog who is often in the allotments. Suddenly, Zico was in hunting mode, ears up body down. " Mom pull him back!" I cried. "Ell, he will be fine." my Mom replied " No he won´t " I retorted. " Just go and stroke the dog to show Zico he is friendly..." " Ughh...it won´t work! " I went over and stroked the dog ( he was very friendly) through the fence. My Mom allowed Zico to pull her all the way over to the dog when BAM! Zico lunged for the dog barking and going mad. The other dog ran away and I pulled Zico close to tell him how naughty he had been, I stormed off muttering under my breathe when my Mom caught up with me. " I told you he wouldn´t be alright, but NO..." I wailed flinging my arms in the air. " OMG....look look mom he is bleeding! " I put my hand gently to his face to examine the damage. " He has cut the sides of his face," " He must of done it on the fence." my Mom replied " See if you had have listened to me this would have never happened, but no you wanted to go strait ahead" " Ellen, is that what you want to do every time we walk him, just pull him away? I want him to get used to other dogs" "That worked so well ".... This stopped after a while and I grabbed Zico´s lead and we walked home in silence. When I got home I wiped up any blood that he had shed and I then I sat down and huffed and huffed. After a while I realized how idiotic I was being and was extremely apologetic to my mom for being such a Brat! We are hoping that Zico´s gashes will heal up soon without any veterinary assistance however they are quite deep. We will keep an eye on him now and my mom will now start listening to me . 0 Comments 13 Apr 2009 20:53 Zico was jumping up and down, wagging his tail madly as we picked him up on Saturday. It was fab to see him again. We had to leave him again later that day and nothing changes... When we got back he had found my big chocolate bunny, a box of ´ Oats and More´, Peanut butter and Coffee! Well same old Zico! XD 1 Comments 10 Apr 2009 17:35 We had to leave Zico at the kennels earlier in the week because we were going on holiday and I cried my eyes out! We are getting him back tomorrow and I CAN NOT WAIT; I love him so much even though he is a little terror ( BIG TERROR) XD. I can´t wait to wrap my arms around his big, muscly neck!
