| My Blog Entries 23 Jul 2008 14:39 Shock! Horror! Rupert has got himself a couple of girlfriends - two sisters I call Fluffy and Fluffier (´cos they are - I don´t know their real names!) Whenever I call Rupert, they appear, closely followed by Rupert himself. They follow him everywhere and seem to think he´s the Beez Kneez! Denis just looks on wearily and doesn´t get involved! 0 Comments 26 Apr 2008 10:57 Life is settling down once again and we are getting used to life without Molly, although it's been very hard. Rupert still cries for her every now and then, but has transfered most of his affections to me and is even managing to turn his squeaks into meows!!
He loves Denis to bits and always greets him enthusiastically in the mornings when Denis has been out all night. Denis is still very dismissive of Rupert, but doesn't hiss at him as much as he used to. I think he sees him as a necessary evil!! 0 Comments 24 Feb 2008 10:50 Just wanted to say that one of my kittens, Molly, died the other day. I found her dead in the woods just at the back of where I live. She was only 9 months old and she was the sweetest, dearest little cats you could ever wish to have. Her brother, Rupert is really missing her and so am I.
3 Comments 02 Dec 2007 12:22 I decided to have two kittens in the end - long story! My neigbour whose cat had the kittens kept the other two - so they all play (or fight) together outside!!
I have a boy and a girl. Molly was the runt of the litter and so is a little smaller than usual. She's black and white and looks just like the Felix Cat. She's adorable and likes nothing better than to be on her back having her tummy rubbed!
Rupert is white and ginger and is also adorable. He's big! He's going to be a big cat - even bigger than Denis and Denis is a big cat! He's got a very sweet nature and, like his sister, is incredibly soppy!
They have both recently been neutered and micro-chipped - all ready for the rest of their lives!! 0 Comments 24 Jun 2007 13:35 I've just put on some pictures of the kittens which are the litter my new baby is coming from!! Still don't know which one yet and I've only got 2 more weeks.......!!!! 0 Comments 22 Jun 2007 12:16 Just wanted to say hello to everyone and to introduce my lovely cat Denis who is 10 years old this year! He has been the most wonderful companion and, I hope, will continue to be so for many years to come!!
But, Denis's world is about to be turned upside down! In a couple of weeks' time, a new kitten will be arriving into our home! He/ she is from a litter of my neighbour's cat. The kittens are all so lovely, I'm having difficulty chosing which one! My neighbour is keeping one of the girls and I have my pick from the other girl and 2 boys. I won't decide until the last minute, but at the moment I'm inclined to have the girl as she's very sweet. Any suggestions?? If anyone can offer any ideas about how to introduce a kitten to a well established cat, I'd be happy to hear from you!
