Happy 2008 to everyone here.  I spent the hols at home and it was fab being home all day with my pets.  Ollie is much calmer now although he did get excited by all the wrapping paper and both cats did their best to knock the Xmas tree over....

Ollie, my new kitten, has been a big success.  My older cat, Babs, has now accepted him and even will play with him and my nephews and nieces think he is the bee's knees!  My father has taken to dropping by just to play with him.

I really look forward now to logging onto Petstreet every day. So many Petstreet members have interesting things to say and it's nice that we are all drawn together by our love for our pets, and for animals in general. I found the information in the Cat Forum about introducing a new kitten very helpful. I collect the new kitten this week so I will try to let everyone here know how it works out in practice....wish me luck!
