Search My Blog | My Blog Entries 30 Jan 2010 12:00 yesterday the 29th jan while i was on my way back from walking tasha 2 young staffys came running up to me from nowhere! there was a white male that was no older than 3 months and a brown/black female that was slightly older, i would say 5-6 months old!... both very fussy sweet dogs, they started following me and i was nearly home and someone else walked past so they started following them, it did worry me that they were so young to be out and about then on there own, they nicked tashas ball and followed someone else and i didnt really think anymore of it untill later about 4pm my son went out and came back with the 2 staffys in tow!!!....so we put them in our back garden and gave them some food and water, i was quite concerned now as the time id seen them earlier was 11am, so that meant they had been wandering for 5 hours!...so i phoned the blue x to see if they could help me and they told me to phone the dog warden at the council which i did!....2 and a half hours later he came to take them away, he siad they will be scanned to see if they are microchipped and returned back to the owner and they are not chipped will go to be rehomed!!.... they were very sweet little dogs, very hyper!... i just hope they end up with a forever home as the owners could not of been that bothered or surely they would of phoned round to see if they had been picked up by the police, dog wardens etc!!!... at least i did my bit to try and help them as the thought of them been out all night in this cold weather makes me cringe!... i know if my dog went missing i would be frantic with worry and be phoning all over to see if she had been picked up!!...so i wonder if these pups had been dumped, got to much for the owners!!....who knows???....how sad! 5 Comments 19 Mar 2008 12:37 9 Comments 14 Dec 2007 18:53 0 Comments 21 Oct 2007 19:04 0 Comments 23 Sep 2007 12:09 we are taking in a new member to our family, its a little grey kitten with a white head, its quite unique because the cute little thing has got a extra toe on each foot so we have decided to call him/her tootsie, this little kitty will be coming to live with us in the middle of october and apparantly its half burmese...if we dont take this little bundle of joy in to our homes its gonna end up at the animal shelter which i cant allow to happen when i can give it a loving home.....i just hope that daisy and fluffy welcome it as much as i will, maybe it will take time for them to get used to it but im sure we will get there in the end! :-) 0 Comments |
