I have a very supportive trainer friend Charlotte Wagner who runs www.caninepaws.com. She gives me plenty of advice and help with rehoming and assessing dogs. She will give discounts if possible for anyone needing behavioural help with one of our rescue dogs and will advise on collars , leads an d harnesses etc amongst many other things. I have lots of animal and dog handling experience but I think the input of a qualified behaviourist is invaluable. Particularly in this day and age where there are large numbers of potentially dangerous doggies being abandoned. Charlotte offers classes as well as one-to-one training and has worked with gun dog rescue in the States. She continually educates herself on training methods.
