Wolfie, a white coloured nine-month-old pedigree golden retriever, fell from the cliffs while out walking with its owner but then trotted off along the beach. Despite seeing him from the cliffs on the beach immediately after the fall, by the time his distraught owners reached the beach 20 minutes later he had disappeared. John Franklin, one of Wolfie´s owners, said, "The horror of seeing the dog go over the cliff was indescribable. "The amazement of seeing him on four legs trotting along the beach immediately afterwards is equally indescribable. It really seemed like a miracle had occurred." His fall appeared to have been partially broken by a pile of scree and there was no sign of any body when the owners reached the beach. Coastguard, police and animal rescue organisations have been alerted and a reward of £200 for his safe return is now on offer. pic and contact number on link http://www.eastbourneherald.co.uk/news/Dog-missing-after-Birling-Gap.5966733.jp Comments Post a comment in this discussion: |
