My dream would be to swim with a whale shark. Awesome creature. 21 Mar 2010 14:23 Hehe we called him Butch lol. I also was mugged by a bunch of monkeys too! I was holding a bag of haribo and the monkeys spotted it, i eventually had a couple of monkeys on my back, a few clinging on to me sides and all staring at my bag of sweet waiting for me to dish it out for them lol, I was also surrounded by tourists recording me and taking pictures!!! Eventually I managed to ease them off me...they weren´t exactly small monkeys either, they were Sykes Monkeys. Unfortunately I hadn´t yet discovered photography back then but will make up for that on this trip to South Africa in August lol. 21 Mar 2010 08:30 catherine i am so jelious ...seeing all those animals free is fantastic.... even if you do get a slap from one of the locals ha ha , your a lucky lady ... i am sooo jelious right now 21 Mar 2010 05:19 I´ve been to Kenya and seen wild lionesses, elephants giraffes, gazelles and all the rest lol. IDIOTS............ 19 Mar 2010 22:51 ha ha ha i just had a vison of you shouting hell no at your computer ha ha i dont like sharks ... i think they are amazeing cretures but i would never wonna get close to one some ppl like to swim with them i think they are off thare rocker to do that lol, 19 Mar 2010 22:37 Member Removed HELL NO---i think those people have lost their minds. where i used to surf is known as the red triangle, between monterey and fort bragg, and out to the farallon islands. it is where all the elephant seal rookeries are, and lots of sea lions- so there´s lots of great white sharks to prey on them. so i have a great fear of sharks. i haven´t known anyone who has been attacked, but it happens there. and an oppossum is a marsupial, native to north america. they look like a HUGE rat with large k9 teeth. but they move very slow, and are omnivorous (they eat ANYTHING). they are very docile, when cornered they will put up a big display like their tough, and when that don´t work, they will play dead. thats where the term "playing possum" comes from. at the zoo, the sea lions have always been my favourite. 19 Mar 2010 22:18 would you ever do the cage thing whare the cage is dropped in water and the sharks are swimming around you WTF is a oppssum ..... we have calaforina sea lions here they are too smart for thare own good lol 19 Mar 2010 22:06 Member Removed also, i´ve seen bald eagles, coyotes, foxes, deer, red tailed hawks, rattlesnakes, oppossums, raccoons, and california sea lions, but the white shark is the only one to scare the crap out of me... hahahaha 19 Mar 2010 21:58 HA HA HA HA HA .. sorry i shouldnt laugh but that last comment had me in stiches id be just the same but how amazeing seeing those fantasic animals free ... 19 Mar 2010 21:54 Member Removed i have seen elephant seals at ano nueva state beach in california. it is where they come to have their calves and its a rookerie. i have also seen whales off the coast of california, and one time while surfing at santa cruz i saw a shark fin about a 100ft away.. that scared the crap out of me Reported 19 Mar 2010 20:58 oh now i bet that is fantasic heather seeing the orangatang...as natural as can be that would be so cool 19 Mar 2010 20:55 i´d love to go to africa on safari.if we had the money thats where we would have our honeymoon. i´d also love to see orangutangs in the wild 19 Mar 2010 20:37 i would LOVE !!! to go and watch dolphins and orcas out free not made to perform just free and doing what they do naturally |
