My hamster Penny ecaped last night by opening a little extention bed lid with her teeth! we found her in a little cuboard trying to bite a china tea cup! Does any of ur hammies do this or at least attempt? Comments Post a comment in this discussion: 26 Jul 2010 22:10 all but 2 of my hamsters have tried n succeeded in escaping out their cages lol the last cage i had was rubbish never getting another i have a new cage now n he cant get out 17 May 2010 15:47 hehe if ur hammie escapes u can put a large bucket in the room where u think ur hammie is, and pile books up leading up to the lid of the bucket (its best if u put them like a stair case). put some soft bedding at the bottom and spead it around, then put some tasty hamster titbits in there too. hopefully ur ecaped hammie will smell the food, climb up the books, fall into the bucket and the bedding should break its fall. The hammie shouldn´t be able to get out of the bucket and all u have to do is wait until morning and then (hopefully) find ur hammie in the bucket. 17 May 2010 15:38 Some years ago my daughters hammy escaped after two days the hall floorboards had to come up we got him back in good condition I was amazed how clever he was as the food we left out was always eaten in the morning needless to say he didn´t get another chance 07 May 2010 12:16 When I had Sandy, all she did was try to escape! One day she did and hid under the sofa. She took her bed and her food. It was like her little camping trip! :) 23 Apr 2010 21:38 my fluffy ate her way out a rotary stack cage only use bars now lol |
