childhood books

what books did you read as a child and did you keep them and have or would pass them on to your children

i have a full set of betrix potter books i love them
i got them when i was a kid and kept hold of them i carnt part with them ive said many times i should get rid of them but never do ,

when i was a kid i loved aesop´s fables
the storys with a moral at the end i think i still have that too
and the disney books the jungle book ,cinderella and so on

do you still have yours ?

Black Beauty, White Fang, Follyfoot Farm (that dates me!), Wish For A Pony, Mallory Towers books (the girls all rode horses), the James Herriot vet books, in fact anything to do with animals! I still have Black Beauty and a series of books about horses set in America - My Friend Flicka, Thunderhead and The Green Grass of Wyoming.
