Hi Mary that all sounds great. Im going to download some PB pictures and put them up in shops where I live. Ive got plenty of vets and charity shops ect that will do this for me. Will do as much as possible to get the right word out about these dogs I can asure you on that. Will keep you posted about what else I can come up with. Thanks Mary speak soon Suex

It´s Pit Bull Awareness Day on October 25th 2008......in State´s right across America,people and lovers of this dog and their type´s are getting together to promote the breed in a strong & positive light.

I have decided to draw attention to this well needed day to those who may not know nor of heard of it outside of the USA....particularly here in the UK !!.

Please do something positive for the PB today..sign as many petitions as you can to help those dogs in need under the DDA and BSL generally....wear a PB t-shirt and/or badge to draw attention to them when you´re walking down the street or taking your children to school.....adopt a PB in a PB Rescue Centre in the US...hold a coffee morning or bric n brac sale to raise money for those who campaign and work endlessly for so many innocent dogs taken under the DDA....such as the UK´s DeedNotBreed and the The Endangered Dogs Association......but above all,whatever you choose to do on PB Awareness Day...is (IF you don´t already that is ??)...learn to love-a-bull today and forever more.....and REMEMBER..their are NO such things as BAD DOGS..it´s BAD BREEDERS & OWNERS.

I am also considering,getting an avater made up,which I will upload as a picture on to this Group and ask that all PB group members and enthusiast´s..for that one day only (the 25th Oct),change their profile piccie and use the new logo instead.

That way anything you post that day,will have your message pasted around the site.....I know that once that member goes back to their original profile picture,the next day,that so will all the post´s pictures too..but at least for the main day,we will be spreading the PB´s plight.

What do you think ???.

Hi mary you no that that the pit bull awareness day is coming up, what can we do to help to show people that these dogs are pets not fighting machines? I feel very strongly about this so if you can suggest anything I can do to help I will do so. I want everyone to know even tho they have banned this breed in this country that they are pets, dogs, animals, and that they are loving and relieable like any other breed of dog many thanks Suex
