German Shepherd Lovers

A friend of mine, is organising a 5 mile doggie walk on Eastbourne Promenade on Saturday the 11th September 2010 to help the Horse Refuge Sanctuary in Kent, there being evicted and the 50 horses need saving. Please can you help spread the word? thanks lizzie x

Hi,
I´m new to petstreet and I have a young GSD of 23 months called Ebony as when I got her she was all black apart from a white flame on her chest. A sher adult fur came through she developped more white/gold on her skirt and uner her front legs. She´s gorgeous and gets on well with the rest of the pack: 1 retriever X, 3 border collie X´s and a bichon x lhasa as well as 2 cats. She gores to obedience training every Thursday and to agility on Mondays but despite all this sociolisation she is still difficult to handle aruond other dogs, I´m still not sure wether she´s scared ( she is a wooze!) or over excited and wanting to play.She is not aggessive but can sound scary as she has a very loud bark. Every one tells me she´s still very young for a GSD and most of the time she acts like a pup, chasing leaves and butterflies so I gather she will calm down in time.

i would like to buy a GSD in the coming months, could anyone tell me of any good breeders out there. I want a really big dog with the standard black and tan markings. Wont be using him for anything other than a loving family pet, but for me the bigger the better. Thanks

Hi i am new to this site, I have 3 sheps ages 7,4 and 1 2 long coat boys and 1 short haired girl, I thing the long coats are easier to look after than the short what are your thoughts?

Our Bo is 2.5 years old and a perfect family dog. He is very well trained from laying/sitting on comand to automaticaly sitting before crossing any road. Hes a very happy dog and extreamily affectionate towards my 2 kids. Nuff said.
