Hamster Crazy

I had a hamster when I was 2-4 years old and her name was Sabrina and she was NOT nocturnal because I always kept her up and my image is actually in the times when I had a hamster. But next Friday I am getting a hamster if I get Straight A´s and my teacher is 95% sure I am! Wish me Luck!

If your on about the same thing as me they are alfalfa sticks (like grass pellets)

I have a hamster Called ginger-Snapps{female}and NOT AT ALL FRIENDLY she will bite,given half the chance,will not be Handled {at all} she has wrecked 2 Cages,bit her way thro them both{Costing me a fortune}...had 2 buy a Solid jolly Hamster Cage from Emersson Pet Centre in Sunderland,as all hamster Cages here in Cardiff are all Plastic...All she does is find ways escape and wont use her 3 wheels or toys,prefers he bars,hates her Ball..HELP...

Im an Adult owner that has had Hamsters all my life,and never come accross 1 like this B4

Just wondering. Does anyone know what those little black sticks are made of that are commonly found in hamster food mixes? None of my hamsters have ever eaten them, they just get thrown in the bin and now I look out for hamster food that doesn't contain them. They must taste really nasty as my hamsters will eagerly eat anything else edible, as well as some things that aren't!
