thanks for letting me join the group!
does anyone know anything about lionhead colours or genetics. I have a baby sable lionhead doe which i'd like to keep as she's fantastic type, but not to breed lionheads, i'm trying to get into mini lionlops. i've already got one litter to a sable lionhead buck and a blue otter girl and in this litter i've got sooty otters, black otters and black selfs i think (though they're only 10 days old so not 100% sure on the selfs at the moment). What i need to know is, if i keep the sable lionhead doe and breed her to a black self minilop buck, what are the likely colours i'll get. the doe is out of sable and magpi, the buck is out of black self and sooty-fawn... if she's likely to just throw sables, then i probably wont keep her but will pet home her. she's adorable, but i'm fairly new to breeding and am not confident enough to go into the more unusual colours. Any help would be very much appreciated!

i only have one netherland dwarf left now... i had two torts that both died suddenly young... they must have been something in the breeding as they were far too nervous... i was supposed to work on torts, but it kind of put me off, i have a black doe left now whos fab, shes mated to a nice buck at the moment so hopefully ill be able to keep back a nice young buck or two to show.... but i have to say that the sables/smoke pearls are my favs, im so pleased ive finally got into them

i love the shape of the english lop... but im not fussed on the ears lol... i prefer the ones with shorter ears that dont touch the floor when sitting... they would never place tho... oh well

Aww the english are so beautiful too!!! Today i saw my first english lop in the flesh was so cool :-)
