Hi, I´m sam. If anyone needs help to exercise their horse then let me know. I´m in West Sussex, my mum first put me on horses, goats??? anything really, before I can remember. I´m 24, very responsible, confident and safe. For the last 16 years I´ve mainly riden my mums friends horses out on hacks, but they have been retired now, so looking for another horse to ride. Bit of extra info you might want to know, I´m insured to look after horses whilst owners are away and I run my own business teaching dog owners how to communicate with their dogs. If anyone is interested then send me a message on here, i check it quite regularly xxx

Hi Sarah,
Welcome to horse lover!
I better introduce myself then as the group owner!

I am Ella and I have three dogs but sadly no pony either!
I started riding when I was 10 and now I am 13.
I have cantered and entered a competion and won a rossette! I was showjumping and I thought that it was great fun. I haven't galloped yet but I am hoping to learn soon. I have trotted with no stirrups both rising and sitting. I think rising is harder with no stirrups. I love cantering and I go to my riding club whenever I have a free day and help out with the horses and the other lessons.

Welcome to Horse Lover everyone.

Thanks to the Editor for joining my group.

Hi, thought i'd get the ball rolling and introduce myself! my name is sarah and i live in east sussex. i have 2 bunnies, 2 cats, 3 rats and a hamster but sadly no pony! i ride once a week at my local stable. i started when i was 9 (quite some time ago now!) and rode once a week pretty much till i was about 18. i then left home and couldn't ride. i started again about 2 years ago, on and off at first but now, as i said, i go most weeks. where i learned to ride was mostly hacking so i had no real schooling and so had to re-learn everything basically! my position was not good so spent many hours concentrating on getting that right, lots of no stirrup work, sitting and rising trot etc. my position is now a lot better and so have moved on to basic lateral work and some jumping (including small x-country jumps in the summer). would love to own my own horse someday but just haven't got the time or money at the moment but you never know what's going to happen in the future so fingers crossed!

would love to hear from the other members with introductions and riding experience etc.
