Great idea for a club!
I went to reaseheath and did foundation, first dip and ND but finished a year early and got a NA in animal management. First went to study equine but had to either swap courses or leave due to injury... so I went and did animal care!!! :D Anyone else at or been to RH??

Hi, I'm just starting to train in Tellington Touch( anybody heard of it!?) So far it's been so interesting and really great fun. It started out in the equine world but has branched in to companion animals which is the course i am doing. If anyone is interested please look up the website, t-touch team.co.uk, for anybody who loves animals and wants to deepen their understanding and communication with them it is such a great tool. I am also starting dog grooming next week aswell which i'm really looking forward to- a bit apprehensive about the anal glands though after reading the other messages!! Ewwww!!!

Hi,
my daughter is studying at college. She's doing a National Diploma in Animal Management and loves every minute of it. She is having to sort out 10 weeks of work experience at the moment which is easier said than done! She's got a few weeks in a local vets where she did some work experience while at school and a few weeks at a dog training centre but another vets has let us down and a local kennels won't give us a definate yes or no at the moment! we live in quite a rural area so it is difficult getting her anywhere.
her favourite day of the week is Tuesdays (practical days!) small animal care, followed by farming and lastly equine. There are lambs due any day now and new born calfs!
Every week she wants a new pet!
Anyway I'll stop rambling on just thought I'd like to join this group and shall pop in now and then, emily (my daughter) doesn't yet know what she wants to do when she leaves college so it will be interesting to see what you all end up doing.
