hi, i have a yellow lab called Disco. I rescued him around a year ago from a home where he wasnt looked after very well!! He was very shy when we first brought him home, cowering away if we moved too quickly or spoke a bit too loud, now he´s the most loving dog ever, especialy with his best friends( my little boys) Jake and Ben.

I have 3 labs, Barney 8, Benson 6 and Pippa 2. The 2 boys had spinal strokes(fibrocartilaginous Embolisiam) within a year of each other. Both have the same mum, but different dads. The specialist vet does not believe it is hereditary but it does make you wonder. Any one else had similar problems with their labs?

Hi
Glad to see that im not the only one! My Bessie is four years old and is my bestest friend, even though most of my friends think I´m nuts because of the fuss I make of her!

hello from me,
i would definitely call myself a Labraholic!!!!
i have had 2 so far in my life firstly was Bob my yellow lab i had him when he was 4 years old, he was my best friend and companion but sadly i lost him in october 2006 he was 11 yrs old and it tore my heart to bits, and i said "never again" i couldn't face going through that heartache all over again.
but i only lasted 4 weeks without a furry friend before i got Scooby also a rescue dog, he is 9 yrs old and i have had him 16 months now, he is great and i love him to bits, i would love to have more, i think their temperament is excellent.
i love all dogs and furry animals but Lab's have to be number 1 for me.
