Cat and kittens

This cat was brought in to our hospital one day last week, while she was having kittens! A client found her in a garden shed and brought her in to us in a cardboard box. By the time she arrived she had had 2 babies and seemed to be doing fine. We left her in a kennel, still in the box, and she finished just fine by herself.

Here she is a few days later, with four healthy babies! She is a really good mum and loves having her tummy rubbed! She stayed with us for 5 days and then the RSPCA took her to their kennels, where they will look after her and the babies. All the babies will be rehomed when they are old enough, and mum will be neutered and found a new place to live as well.
